Originally from Mexico City, Joaquin and Ana Pedrero are accomplished photographers with a passion for creating exceptional images.

Grounded in a reverence and deep knowledge of traditional photographic techniques, their complimentary skills inform a wide range of commercial, architectural and portrait photography; as well as post-production services.

Both studied and worked independently, in Mexico City and New York before moving to Canada, over 20 years ago, to establish a thriving studio in North Vancouver, BC.

Thrilled by the intellectual and creative challenges inherent in every new project, the Pedrero's work as a team – with the client – to ensure that the final product meets their standards and goals. They particularly enjoy finding new ways to see things in a different light…to create something unique.

In addition to managing a busy practice, both pursue their own vision of fine art photography – Joaquin for his widely-exhibited hand-built compositions, rich in iconography and cultural meaning; and Ana's nostalgic images, created with a variety of lighting and scanning techniques, of the beauty of flowers and plants past their prime.

In addition, Joaquin teaches fine art photography at Langara College, in Vancouver, for which he deepens his own knowledge of the history and technique of master photographers.
